LIEBIG sets (6 trade cards in a set), 1868 - 1975
The LIEBIG Meat Extract Company was founded in 1868 and produced more than 2000 beautifull tradecard sets , up to 1962. These 600 sets have a cultural value of artistic and social worth. All kind of themes are represented : Flora & Fauna, history, science, inventions and visions of life around 1900. Cards are normaly inserted in the original albums

Au Bon Marche was a big store-house in Paris. There is a catalogue from their editions, mostley sets of 6 cards. This is one of the nicest collections ever produced. Strong graphics, best artists, quality paper. On all cards before 1910 the printer is mentioned
